    • And what doesn't? That's my whole point isn't it?

Nobody wants to excel? Trust me, even the most badass beng will have the slightest hope that he can score or even pass their exams. It's not that easy to study and perform well with an environment so deeply pressured through peer influences and constant shame from the public.

It might be easy to enter the institute, but performing well is hard, and just go around asking those in the working world, even Poly students are having trouble getting a stable job, lest an ITE student, only those with better grades are hired.

People look down on them because people are very generic, they see a few lousy and low-performing ITE students and they judge everyone from the same school the same.

    • Then you're being generic, there ARE poly students who go to school without bringing any books too.

If that's the case, it's not where they go to, but how sucky their attitude is. For this kind of people, you send him/her to best school also the end for them.

But it takes discipline AND effort to excel in ITE.

If you're going to just give little effort in everything you do, it's not only studies that will be the end of you but probably your whole life.

    • But it's true mah, the choices you have are so obvious..

      -Police

-Talk to them, tell them they change house already

Ah Long are not stupid, they are doing business also, they know they're not going to get anything from you all and they are running the risk of getting their man arrested... explain to them nicely, if doesn't work, call police.

You come ask for help, you cfm know you're going to get crap answer, it's an open forum, and you ARE whining.

      I totally ashamed as one.
You see president and prime minister.

      What they do for us?
      Totally nothing.
They go round saying like they will help the residents over Singapore.

      Now you see.
I don't even get a fucking help from the polices.

    • Don't take side unless you're forced to, instead let it be known to yourself that Guy B can backstab you anytime and you need to be weary of him.

It's always better to have more friend then more enemies.

    • That will be a shop importing in mass directly from the factory, and promising the insurance charges on itself.

If anyone who is interested in your watch were to do a quick price check on the net, he/she will realize he/she can buy the watch at USD44.46 (inclusive of shipping to Asia <Singapore>), which is 63.89SGD.

Consumers will not like to hear reasons like "hey, you know shops in Singapore are selling this for 120SGD?" when they know they can get it at a much cheaper price with a direct import. Yes, shops are INDEED selling it at that price, but remember consumers are buying with cheaper price priority, not pitying the seller.

And, through retail selling, people are willing to pay more for insurance and warranty, again adding up to it's high price, you're a second hand seller, are you providing your own warranty? I don't think so,

    • Then you should stop wasting your time thinking on how to get back to him.

He talk to you, ignore him, if he tries to get physical, beat the crap out of him. If he insult you and step over the line (eg scolding your parents etc), give him a good slap, stare him out for the rest of the days.

And spend more time on your studies.

    • That's a lot of words.

Reply him with something like "ya, like a noisy dog like that, keep barking, can't stop"

I will be angry if someone I don't know insult me for no reaons, or if someone I'm close with does something stupid to me, and I would've never known him/her as such a fucktard.

But if it's just some idiotic shitbag that I already long known that he/she has a mentally crippled intelligence, I'll just shrug or laugh it off.

    • If you're mature enough, you won't be disturbed by such childish actions. If what you say is true, he's a 15 year old with a mindset of 12. Just completely ignore him.

Don't respond to his jokes, talks or what. If he pesters you, just tell him straight in the face to fuck off. If what you say is true, he can't do shit to you cos you can wack his ass anytime.

If you're not that mature enough to let it go, then shame him publicly, exploit the holes in his jokes, calling it lame out loud or what, branding him a dumbfuck or fuck face or whatsoever. Of course, you're dragging yourself to a lower standard by doing stuff like this, but from what I see, you're not mature enough.

Only a childish person will respond to such lame shit and get angered by it.

    • In the Gunner's Hatch of the M1A1 Abrams tank, Private Danny Howard yawned. He was tired from patrolling the streets; His shift would end soon .he barely suppressed his glee at this machine of death that could vanquish any Iraqi T-72 tank without so much a scratch. The Abrams had Chobham armor, the British's technologically advanced armor package that was also installed on the Challanger 2 Tank.It held several cartridges of Depleted Uranium rounds that was fired through a 122mm smoothbore turret which was shared with its German counterpart, the Leopard 2 tank ,as part of the partnership with General Dynamics Corporation and Rheinmentall AG. The Abrams's 1500 horsepower Lycoming-Honeywell AGT-500 multi-fuel turbine engine provided the grunt for the tank.

The bottom part sounds like a cut from Wiki or some tank facts book. -,-

It is unnecessary, a compo will be marked based on your language and content, not the amount of facts you can fork out about your tank, there's no need to pile that in. Write like you're a O student, don't step it up to something else.

In order to do a better rating, you need to give us the theme of the question, I've seen many great essays but went OOP due to content and got either a borderline pass or a slight marks failure.

Why will a PO be so bo liao? They can't wait to finish their patrol and head back to NPC i tell you, where got time play cat and mouse with a passerby CV?

a lot of people will get into trouble if they follow your advice.

If a PO ask for your IC, give it to them, they want take down particulars, give it to them

If they want to search you, tell them under what offences did you commit, or under what impression of offences do the PO think your doing. If they give a reasonable explanation, let them search you. If you think their trying to fark with you, STILL let them search you, head down to their PO and a file a complaint. Do not resist the PO order, unless it's really extreme, if you resist, they can come up with more fucked up excuses to do a physical restrain or arrest you.

If you're a female, they can only search you if it's done by a female PO.

Two of my bros are in their 20s, I'm 16.

We ain't  that close in the past, but grow older liao understand that my brothers care for me will treasure them more, keep going out with them

My older brother is studying overseas now, we still chat on MSN to maintain the R/S. =)

Naturally will be close if the older one care for the younger ones, and the younger one is old enough to understand what's happening.

      COD5 < COD4

COD4 is much better IMO, but maybe it's due to me having a strong affection for modern weapons and stuff.

COD5 is tougher, the camouflage is a pain in the ass, can't see shit.

Have yet to try the online vers though.

    • DotA in every aspect is still a game, not an MMORPG, but still a mod of a RTS.

I'll never go down to a lanshop alone, the only reason I'll enter it is to play games with a group of friends, it's completely different to play side by side then on Vent or just keyboard chat. Also, there are many people in Singapore who doesn't have the privilege to enjoy gaming at home.

The father of DotA is not Eul, the father of Dota ALLSTAR is Guinsoo. DotA was there long ago, Guinsoo took it up and gave a revolutionary change to it named Allstar.

What you're saying is something like certain genres of games sucks compare to others. To each his/her own. "One man's meat is another man's poison". What you might enjoy might be something others loathe.

If you're saying that Singaporeans enjoy old games, there's nothing wrong with it! Older games like RO, Diablo II, Warcraft III(I consider this recent even though it's like 6 years old), Fallout are still well appreciated by people all around the world, because they're awesome.
